CEFR and age control that actually holds

“A1” should mean the same thing every time — not drift with the topic. Level-locking is built into every part of the pack.

Level-locked, not level-flavoured

Each generation carries the CEFR level and age band, with guard-rails on which vocabulary and grammar structures are fair game. The definition, the example sentence, the song and the worksheet are all held to the same level, so the language doesn't quietly climb above your class.

Pre-literacy is handled honestly

A three-year-old can't read yet, so the youngest packs come out oral, physical and picture-based — point, chant, trace, colour — with no reading passages or written worksheets. Ages 5–6 get single-word recognition and tracing; 7 and up get real reading and writing. Adding a very-young age band without this would just produce material a VYL teacher would reject on sight.

Built for the young end

The age bands run 3–4, 5–6, 7–8 and 9–11 — finer where children develop fastest, and capped at primary. LingoChorus is deliberately deep in one room rather than shallow across every age.

In every pack

  • Age band + CEFR carried through every field
  • Vocabulary and grammar guard-rails per level
  • Pre-literate / emergent / literate handling
  • Bands: 3–4, 5–6, 7–8, 9–11
