LingoChorus puts a teacher between the model and the child at every step. Here’s exactly how we handle AI for a young-learner classroom — including the limits.
Teachers stay in control
Every generated field is editable before class, and the pack is meant to be reviewed, not used blind. LingoChorus is a tool for a teacher, not a replacement for one.
AI-generated content is labelled
Packs are marked AI-assisted and “review before class.” Nothing is presented as unreviewable truth.
AI can make mistakes
Generated text, translations and images can be wrong or awkward, and a first-language glossary especially should be checked by someone who knows the language. Treat the pack as a strong first draft.
No individual student data
There are no student profiles and no gradebook. Class feedback for the re-teaching loop is recorded at the class and item level — “most got it / mixed / most missed” — never as a record about a named child.
Age-appropriate by design
Content is written for young classrooms: nothing frightening, violent, romantic or otherwise unsuitable. Flashcard image generation does not produce images of children by default, and the vocabulary is overwhelmingly animals, objects and places.
Honest about what it isn’t
LingoChorus is for younger learners (roughly ages 5–10). It is not a full teen or adult platform, not a school-administration suite, and it does not offer pronunciation scoring or a live student chat tutor. It has not been formally validated by any institution.
Data handled plainly
Generation happens server-side; API keys never reach the browser. Saved packs and their media belong to the signing-in teacher and are isolated from other accounts. See the schools privacy page for detail.
